Harrison & Shirley Brown
Pastor Harrison Brown has been preaching for about 17 years. Having been raised in the old time gospel way, by Godly & devoted parents, he carries the legacy of living & working for the Lord & His kingdom.
Having no formal training such as Bible school or seminary, he has a deep love for the word of God & the anointing of the Holy Ghost in bringing it forth. He often says he has been to the “school of hard knocks .” We know he really believes in Knee-ology & spends hours in prayer for the flock God has entrusted to his care. Though a normally reserved and quiet man, when ministering behind the pulpit under God’s anointing, Pastor Harrison becomes quote, “Reverend Aerobics.” It is also remarkable God called him to pastor the same church he was raised in.
Sis. Shirl or “Pastorette” as she is fondly called, is truly a pastor’s wife. She has been ministering approximately a year longer than Pastor and was also raised in the old time gospel way by Godly & devoted parents. She also has a deep love for the Word & is a gifted speaker at ladies conferences, behind the home pulpit, or just giving a glorious testimony of the goodness of her Lord.
She shares a beautiful testimony of God’s calling upon her life as a minister’s wife, knowing she hadn’t married a minister, but fully trusting and waiting on God’s perfect timing and what he would reveal. She holds the standards of a Godly woman, not only in her dress code but her heart comes forth with a love only God can give.
We at CRC are very thankful to the Lord for our Pastors. They truly represent the calling of pastors & shepherds.. Pastors have often said, “We’re on call seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day, quote, “twenty four-seven.” Unless already occupied with another member of the flock, you will always find they’re there for you. We know they take God at His Word as said in Jeremiah 3:15, “And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding…”
Bro. Dwight Brown teaches the adult seniors ( 35 & up ). He has been teaching for many years , first with the teens & now in his present class. Many have been touched ,challenged & ministered to by his teaching. Bro. Brown also serves on our deacon board.
Bro. Bob Coleman teaches the young adult class ( 18 to 35 ). He teaches the old time way of living in a modern world. He is also a lay minister in the church while he and his wife, Carol also have a singing ministry preaching and singing in other churches, benefits, etc., as God leads them. He serves as Sunday School Superintendent as well as serving on the board of trustees
Sis. Pat Crowder teaches the teen class.
Sis. Tasha Green teaches the Juniors class(9-12yr olds), the kids love her and she is doing a fine job instilling the word in their hearts.
Sis Tasha says this about her class " My desire is to teach the kids about the Bible and what it holds for them. But most of all I want to guide them toward God, helping them develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to grow in his goodness as they build upon his word. So that no matter what comes their way in life, as they mature and grow into teens and older that they will know they are under the shadow of the Almighty and that he will never leave nor forsake them for he is watching over his dear sheep!"

Sis. Louise Brown says this about her class: I enjoy teaching the word of God to my class, for the word of God is a firm foundation to all lives. It is exciting to watch them grow in God's word. My desire is for a seed of faith to be planted in their lives. I love every Child that I teach or have taught. 1Peter 1:25 "But the word of the Lord endureth forever..."
